The difference between PRP and i-PRF:
PRP and i-PRF are very similar in where in both cases blood is drawn and then spun in a centrifuge using specific protocol to then inject a fluid rich with growth factors and platelets into the targeted treatment area. PRP is created using only plasma and therefore has a higher concentration of platelets, while i-PRF produces a fluid with higher concentration of growth factors and fibrin using a slower centrifugation protocol. Onset of the procedure:
