babyGLOW™ vs manGLOW™: Same Product, Different Technique

babyGLOW™ and manGLOW™ use the same TEOSYAL® Redensity 1 formulation. The difference — and it matters — is entirely in the technique of product placement.

babyGLOW™ and manGLOW™ are both Alpha Medical signature protocols using TEOSYAL® Redensity 1 by Teoxane. The product is the same. What differs — and what defines the result — is the technique applied.

Male and female facial anatomy are genuinely different: in skin density, collagen structure, sebum production, pore size, and the distribution of subcutaneous fat. A technique that produces an optimal result on female skin will produce a different result on male skin if applied without adaptation. manGLOW™ exists to address this.

The Anatomy Difference

Male skin is on average 20–25% thicker than female skin and has significantly higher collagen density. Male sebaceous glands are more active, pores are larger, and the skin's structural architecture differs — particularly around the forehead, jaw, and orbital zone.

These differences affect how the product distributes in tissue, how deep it needs to be placed to achieve the optimal result, and which areas benefit most from treatment.

The Technique Distinction

In babyGLOW™, the placement technique is calibrated for female facial anatomy — finer, more superficial in many zones, with particular attention to the periorbital and perioral areas where female skin quality tends to show visible changes earliest.

In manGLOW™, injection depth, distribution points, and product volume per injection are adjusted for denser male skin. The distribution pattern differs to account for male facial proportions and the areas where quality change is most visible in men — commonly the forehead, cheeks, and overall skin clarity.

The Result: Identical in Character, Adapted in Application

Both protocols produce the same character of result: a genuine improvement in skin radiance, hydration, texture and luminosity that looks entirely natural. In babyGLOW™ patients the result is typically described as looking luminous and refreshed. In manGLOW™ patients it is described as looking healthier, clearer, more vital — and completely undetectable as a treatment.

Many patients have both a spouse or partner who takes babyGLOW™ and they take manGLOW™. The visible results are equally impressive — just appropriately calibrated for each.
